Zusammenfassung
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Fa. Klein, Heidelberg, wurde ein vereinfachtes Saug-Spülgerät
für die extrakapsuläre Kataraktextraktion entwickelt, bei dem der Sog durch Anschluß
an einen wohl überall bereits vorhandenen Sauger erzeugt wird. Die Steuerung der Saugleistung
erfolgt über einen Fußregler, der im „by-pass” regelbar Nebenluft zuführt. Das in
Aufbau und Pflege einfache Gerät wird als preiswürdige Alternative zu den bereits
auf dem Markt befindlichen aufwendigen Saug-Spülsystemen verstanden.
Summary
A simplified irrigation/aspiration system has been developed by the author in cooperation
with the Klein company of Heidelberg. The suction is produced by connecting the instrument
to a commonly used aspirator. The aspiration force is regulated by means of a foot-pedal,
which regulates the amount of “bypass air” delivered through a special tube connected
to the irrigation/aspiration handpiece. This simple i/a system represents a low-priced
alternative to other systems already on the market.
