Abstract

We describe an 8-year-old male who presented with persistent lung abscess. The boy was subsequently found to be having congenital broncho-esophageal fistula. This condition has been reported rarely worldwide in children. It is probably the first case of congenital broncho-esophageal fistula presenting as persistent lung abscess from India.
