Fachbibliotheken und Literaturdatenbanken als Quellen der Evidenz in der Integrativen Medizin

Zusammenfassung

Trotz einer wachsenden Zahl wissenschaftlicher Publikationen im Bereich der Integrativen Onkologie ist es immer noch schwierig, einen Überblick über die publizierte Evidenz zu erhalten. Fachbibliotheken und Literaturdatenbanken können dabei als Quellen zur Evidenzbasierung herangezogen werden. Dieser Artikel zeigt nach einer Einleitung in das Thema die Möglichkeiten auf, die CAMbase und Arthedata bieten, zwei online verfügbare Literaturdatenbanken für Therapeuten, Ärzte und Wissenschaftler. Sie sind kostenlos und ohne Registrierung nutzbar.

Abstract

Although there is a steady increase of scientific publications in the field of integrative oncology, it is still difficult to get a vaild overview of published evidence. Specialist libraries and bibliographical databases may therefore contribute as sources for an evidence base. After a short introduction into the topic, this article outlines the possibilities and features of two bibliographical databases CAMbase and Arthdata, which are accessible online for therapists, physicians and researchers. They are free of charge and can be used without registration.
