Homöopathie in der Kinderpalliativmedizin

Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahren wurden viele Hilfsangebote und neue Strukturen zur Unterstützung von Palliativpatienten geschaffen. Auch in der Betreuung von schwerst und palliativ erkrankten Kindern und Jugendlichen werden viele, dem Alter der Patienten angepasste Angebote gemacht. Viele Familien suchen in diesen speziellen Situationen zusätzlich Unterstützung durch komplementäre Therapieverfahren. Hier kann die Homöopathie eine begleitende Therapie mit Hilfe der für den individuellen Patienten jeweils passenden homöopathischen Arznei anbieten, um die Krankheitssymptome des Kindes zu lindern und seine Lebensqualität zu verbessern. Die Grundzüge der Homöopathie werden dargestellt und die praktische homöopathische Betreuung und Begleitung bei 2 Kindern mit schweren angeborenen Erkrankungen wird geschildert.

Abstract

In the last years multiple structures to assist and support patients in a palliative care setting were made. Also for children and teens in a palliative condition and their families there are different offerings for assistance in daily life and also in dying. Nonetheless families are searching for support in complementary medicine. So, a homeopathic treatment with a special remedy for the individual child can help to relieve the burden of the disease and to improve qualiy of life. The principles of homeopathy are shown and visualised by the homeopathic treatment of two children with life-shortening conditions, also during the dying process.
