Hintergrund

Irisdefekte können zu vermehrter Blendempfindlichkeit, Visusminderung, monokularen Doppelbildern und kosmetischer Beeinträchtigung führen. Während kleinere Defekte mittels Naht versorgt werden können, sind zur chirurgischen Versorgung größerer Irisdefekte spezielle Implantate erforderlich, um die Funktion und das Erscheinungsbild wiederherzustellen.
