Vitamin D und Omega-3-Fettsäuren – gemeinsam gegen Entzündungen

Volker Schmiedel

Abstract

The amount of data on vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids is enormous. While vitamin D acts directly in the cellular and humoral immune system, the derivatives from omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory. Both led to the avoidance of silent inflammation in the first place, or to the alleviation or even cure of chronic inflammatory diseases that had developed.
