In memoriam Lester Packer: Die 4 Meilensteine der Vitamin-E-Forschung

Lester Packer (1929–2018) war ein Pionier der Vitamin-E-Forschung. Er hat als Erster erkannt, dass bei der Redox-Regulation von Zellen und Geweben und insbesondere deren Anpassung an oxidativen Stress ein ganzes System von Komponenten zusammenwirken muss, und dass Vitamin E dabei eine zentrale Rolle einnimmt. Einer der Meilensteine in der Vitamin-E-Forschung!
