Zusammenfassung
Pflege zwischen Berufsethos und Ökonomie. Dieser Beitrag zeigt auf, dass
pflegerisch verantwortliches Handeln und Ökonomie kein Widerspruch sind, sondern
zwei Seiten derselben Medaille. Ökonomisierung ist notwendig, um Verschwendung
zu vermeiden. Der Anstieg der Pflegebedürftigkeit in Deutschland und der
Fachkräftemangel in der Pflege stellen das Pflegesystem vor erhebliche
Herausforderungen. Pflegeökonomie analysiert wirtschaftliche Zusammenhänge des
Pflegesystems und leistet mit ökonomischer Evaluation einen Beitrag zur
Schaffung von Evidenz für pflegepolitische Entscheidungen.
Abstract
Care between professional ethics and economics. This article shows that
responsible nursing care and economics are not contradictory, but two sides of
the same coin. Economization is necessary to avoid waste. The increase in the
need for care in Germany and the shortage of skilled nursing staff pose
considerable challenges for the care system. Care economics analyzes the
economic interrelationships of the care system and, through economic evaluation,
contributes to the creation of evidence for care policy decisions.
