Significance

Direct transition-metal-catalyzed C-H functionalization is of great interest in organic chemistry due to its economic advantages and high atom efficiency. Catalytic oxidative amination of azoles via C-H, N-H coupling reported here, is a simple and useful method for the synthesis of aminoazoles which are highly important intermediates, especially in material sciences.
