Significance

Highly Z- and enantioselective ring-opening/cross-metathesis reaction is developed by using a sterically less demanding adamantyl­imido ligand to generate in situ chiral stereogenic-at-Mo complex is generated with bispyrrolide with monoprotected binaphthol.
