Renal Artery Stenosis with Tuberculosis: A Unique Presentation

Abstract

Hypertension secondary to renal artery stenosis is widely known in the pediatric age group. However, isolated renal artery stenosis secondary to tuberculosis causing hypertension is very uncommon and warrants a high index of suspicion for early diagnosis and treatment. We report a case of an 11-year-old girl with conglomerate tuberculoma with right renal artery stenosis, presenting with hypertensive emergency.
