Die intraossäre Punktion in der prähospitalen Notfallmedizin

Zusammenfassung

Die intraossäre Punktion hat sich in der akuten Notfallsituation als schnelle und sichere Alternative zum konventionellen Gefäßzugang etabliert. Die ursprünglich strengen Anwendungsbeschränkungen wurden deutlich erweitert. Der vorliegende Artikel befaßt sich mit Grundlagen, Indikationsstellung sowie Durchführung und möglichen Komplikationen bei der intraossären Punktion.

Abstract

In emergency medicine, the intraosseous access has been established as an alternative to conventional intravenous access. Originally the use of intraosseous access limited to children up to 6 years of age and to adults for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. These limitations had been revised and the indication for intraosseous access has been expanded. This article deals with the principles of this technique, the indication for intraosseous access as well as the conduction and possible complication of this technique.
