Last yearʼs traditional 109th annual meeting of the Swiss Society of Ophthalmology was held with great success in Interlaken from the 1st to the 2nd of September 2016. You will find some of the most interesting presentations in this issue, ranging from epidemiological and health economical keratitis studies, quality outcomes after cataract surgery, to genetic studies regarding complement polymorphism in AMD and many interesting case series and case reports.
