Significance

Isolated from Clavelina cylindrica, Cylindricines A-K inhibit murine leukaemia and various tumor cell lines. Noteworthy in this synthesis is the efficient and elegant aza-[3+3] annulation strategy to prepare the challenging spirocyclic amine scaffold characteristic of this family.
