Significance

A novel methodology for performing the ortho arylation of acetanilides via C-H activation and cross-coupling with trialkoxyarylsilanes is introduced. Cu(OTf)2 is hereby used as oxidant and AgF as fluoride source activating the trialkoxy­silanes for cross-coupling.
