Zusammenfassung
Nach kurzer Darstellung der totalen und partiellen Hemihypertrophien wird über einen
Fall von fazialer Hemihypertrophie mit Grubenbildung der Papille und Defekt im zugehörigen
retinalen Pigmentepithel berichtet; die gemeinsame teratogenetische Terminationsperiode
könnte Hinweis auf eine gemeinsame Pathogenese der Entwicklungsdefekte sein.
Summary
After a brief review of total and partial hemihypertrophies, a case of facial hemihypertrophy
with pitting of the optic disk and a defect in the adjacent retinal pigment epithelium
is reported. The common teratogenetic period of termination suggests that the facial
and ocular defects may be pathogenetically related.
