Abstract

A new flavanonol glycoside isolated from the roots of Diospyros peregrina has been characterized as 5,7,3,5'–tetra–hydroxy–3'–methoxy flavanone–4'–O–a–L–rhamnopyranoside on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical studies.
