Abstract

Plants of 21 families, encompassing 21 genera and 30 species were screened for the yield of different extracts and the presence of amines, phenols, tannins, flavonoids, leucoanthocyanins, steroids, naphthaquinoids or anthraquinoids, cardenolides, alkaloids, saponins and cyanogenic compounds.
