Abstract

Seven glycoalkaloids derivated from tomatidenol were extracted from fresh leaves of an african Solanum, S. dasyphyllum Thonn. cultivated in our botanic garden (from seeds collected in Rwanda). Four of these glycosides were identified respectively as soladulcamarin, α, β and γ–solamarin.
