Abstract

In the essential oil of the fruits of Stenocalyx michelii (Myrtaceae), the sesquiterpenes furanoelemene, germacrene–B, γ–elemene and selina–4 (14), 7(11)-diene were identified. Two triterpenes, epifriedelinole and friedeline, two long-chain alcohols, hexa– and octacosanole, as well as β-sitosterole were isolated from the ethanolic extract of the leaves.

Zusammenfassung

Im ätherischen Öl aus den Früchten von Stenocalyx michelii (Myrtaceae) konnten die Sesquiterpene Furanoelemen, Germacren–B, γ–Elemen und Selina–4 (14), 7(11)-dien identifiziert werden. Aus dem äthanolischen Extrakt der Blätter wurden neben dem ubiquitär vorkommenden β–Sitosterol zwei Triterpene, epi–Friedelinol und Friedelin sowie zwei langkettige Alkohole, Hexa– und Octaconsanol, isoliert.
