Abstract

In order to find the nutrient value of poppy seed oil, a gas Chromatographie analysis of its fatty acid methyl esters was carried out and the presence of lauric, myristic, palmitic, stearic, oleic and linoleic acids were found. Their amounts were determined and some physical and spectral characteristics of the oil were given.
