Abstract

From the blue coloured flowers of Clitoria ternata L. (Leguminosae) three closely related anthocyanins namely, malvidin–3–β-glucoside, delphinidin–3–β-glucoside and 3 methyl derivative of delphinidin–3–β-glucoside, have been isolated.
