Abstract

Robinia pseudoacacia seeds were tested for their hemagglutinating activity as crude extract as well as the 40–65 % ammonium sulphate saturation precipitate in presence and absence of Mn2+ ions.

The O human blood group erythrocytes and several animal red blood cells were screened. The inhibilitory effect of substituted and nonsubstituted saccharides were also investigated.
