Abstract
Four minor alkaloids were isolated from the bulbs and roots of Crinum bulbispermum L.; two of them have been identified as crinamine and powelline. The third alkaloid is identical with hippadine which is isolated recently from Hippeastrum vittatum L. Her. The fourth alkaloid is considered new and provisionaly termed crinalbine. It was assigned the molecular formula C19, H23NO6 and its picrate and methiode derivatives proved this formula.
