Abstract
The roots of 89 species of the genus Salvia were investigated on the occurrence of chinones, 81 species of these for the first time. 85 species contained phenanthrenchinones, 39 species chinones of the royleanone-type, 39 species chinones of the tanschinone-type.
The occurrence of chinones can be used as a chemotaxonomical character of the genus Salvia.
Zusammenfassung
Die Wurzeln von 89 Salvia–Arten, davon 81 Arten zum ersten Mal, wurden auf das Vorkommen von Chinonen untersucht.
Vhenanthrenchinone wurden in 85 Arten festgestellt. Chinone vom Royleanon-typ sind in 39 Arten und vom Tanschinontyp in 39 Arten aufgefunden worden.
Das Vorhandensein von bestimmten Vhenanthrenchinonen (Royleanonen oder Tanschinonen) kann als ein chemotaxonomisches Merkmal für die Einteilung der Gattung Salvia dienen.
