Summary
Kaempferol and quercetin were separated from the hydrolysed ether fraction of the
methanol extract of Mangifera indica leaves.
Mangiferin quantitatively extracted from the leaf material was subjected to thorough
studies including degradation and ultraviolet spectrophotometric analysis.
Zusammenfassung
Aus der hydrolisierten Äther–Fraktion eines methanolischen Extraktes aus Blättern
von Mangifera indica wurden Kämpferoi und Quercetin isoliert. Das aus den Blättern isolierte Mangiferin
wurde durch Abbau–Reaktionen und UV–Spektrophotometrie eingehender untersucht.
