Introduction
Inflammatory pseudotumor of the liver (IPT) is a benign tumoral lesion first described by Pack and Baker in 1953 [16]. Since then, it has been increasingly recognized but still remains quite uncommon, especially in children. The interest in an accurate diagnosis is based on its potential for spontaneous regression, thus avoiding the morbidity of an unnecessary major surgery.
