The ethnomedicinal uses of Ceratotheca sesamoides include antidiarrheal, antimalarial, antidiabetic and anti-inflammatory [1]. The leaves of C. sesamoides are a delicious delicacy in Nigeria [2]. Ten compounds, including iridiods, phenolics and flavonoids were isolated so far in this study from this plant which includes two new ones. Structures of the compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic data analyses including 1D, 2D NMR and HRESIMS.
