Four representatives of the new ring system pyrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazine were prepared by N-amination of 3(5)-aminopyrazole or its 5(3)-phenyl derivative and cyclocondensation of the resultant 1,5-diaminopyrazoles with glyoxal, butanedione, or benzil.
