Palladium acetate in the presence of n-Bu4NCl or LiCl, NaO2CH and i-Pr2NEt in N,N-dimethylacetamide catalyzes the cross-coupling of vinylic oxetanes and aryl and vinylic iodides or vinylic triflates to provide good yields of the corresponding 5-aryl-3-alken-1-ols and 3,6-alkadien-1-ols respectively.
