European Examination in Pediatric Surgery

The European Examination in Pediatric Surgery 2001 took place November 16th - 17th 2001 in Cologne.

The scope of the examination covered the following: The gastrointestinal tract, The genito-urinary system, The central and peripheral nervous systems, The cardiovascular system, The respiratory system, The head, neck and face, The musculoskeletal system (including skin), The endocrine system, The lymphoreticular system (including immunology), Transplantation.

The examination consisted in five sessions à 35 minutes including a spot test.

The examiners were: Professor Robert Carachi, Glasgow; Professor Ray Fitzgerald, Dublin; Professor Gian Parigi (Observer), Pavia; Professor Andrew Pintér (Observer), Pécs; Professor Wolfgang Lambrecht, Hamburg; Professor Karl-Ludwig Waag, Mannheim-Heidelberg; Professor Alexander M. Holschneider, Köln.
