Abstract

Based on the readily available 4-dichloromethylene-2-phenyl-1,3-oxazol-5(4H)-one, preparative methods for the synthesis of a set of functionalized derivatives of the poorly studied [1,3]oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidine system were elaborated.
