Abstract
Abscesses can occur after appendectomy. With the increasing use of laparoscopy, this
risk has increased in the same way as the incidence of abscesses related to dropped
gallstones increased after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. However, this occurrence
has been rarely reported. We describe here the case of a young patient who developed
retroperitoneal abscess one year after laparoscopic appendectomy.
Abcès rétropéritonéal secondaire à la chute d'un coprolithe compliquant une appendicectomie
laparoscopique
Des abcès peuvent survenir après appendicectomie. Avec l'augmentation de l'utilisation
de la laparoscopie, le risque a augmenté de la même façon que l'incidence des abcès
secondaire à la chute d'un calcul après cholécystectomies laparoscopiques. Néanmoins
ceci a été rarement rapporté. Nous décrivons ici le cas d'un jeune patient qui a développé
un abcès rétropéritonéal un an après appendicectomie laparoscopique.
Absceso retroperitoneal por apendicolito persistente como complicación de la apendicectomía
laparoscópica
Siempre es posible que ocurran abscesos tras una apendicectomía. Con el uso creciente
de la laparoscopia este riesgo ha aumentado de la misma forma que ocurrió con la incidencia
de abscesos relacionados con cálculos biliares abandonados tras la colecistectomía
laparoscópica. Sin embargo, esta eventualidad se publica raras veces. Describimos
aquí un caso de un paciente que desarrolló un absceso retroperitoneal un año tras
la apendicectomía laparoscópica.
Ein retroperitonealer Abszess auf der Basis eines abgesunkenen Koprolithen als Komplikation
nach laparoskopischer Appendektomie
Nach einer Appendektomie kann es immer zu einer Abzedierung kommen. Mit der Zunahme
der laparoskopischen Appendektomien nahm auch die Inzidenz von Abszessen zu, so wie
die Zahl von Abszessen wegen „verlorener“ Gallensteine nach der laparoskopischen Cholezystektomie
zunahm. Trotzdem wird über diese Komplikation selten berichtet. Wir beschreiben hier
den Fall eines jungen Patienten, der einen retroperitonealen Abszess ein Jahr nach
einer laparoskopischen Appendektomie entwickelte.
