Schisandrone, a New 4-Aryltetralone Lignan from Schisandra sphenanthera

Abstract

A new 4-aryltetralone lignan, named schisandrone was isolated from the dried fruits of Schisandra sphenanthera, collected in Gansu province. The chemical structure and absolute configuration was elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectral analysis.
