Significance

P-Stereogenic phosphines are recognized as very efficient ligands for transition-metal-catalyzed transformations. Still, examples of their utility are scarce due to the lack of efficient synthetic methods for their preparation. This account describes a novel approach to the preparation of these phosphines via dynamic enantioselective arylation of silylphosphine substrates.
