Abstract

From fresh overground organs of Scropbularia lateriflora Trautv., a new iridoid glucoside, scrophularioside, was isolated. Its structure l was established by chemical degradation and mainly by spectroscopic methods (¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR, MS).
