Abstract

A detailed review of mechanical irritants, stinging nettles, phototoxic compounds and contact allergens causing dermatitis in men is presented. The producing plants and their dermatitis causing constituents are listed. The chemical structures and the botanical sources of primary irritants are also discussed.
