Enantioselective 1,6-Enyne Cycloisomeri-zation using Platinum Catalysts

Significance

The authors report a new platinum catalyst for the asymmetric enyne cycloisomerization. Although enantioselective enyne cyclizations have attracted considerable interest in recent years (see Review below), asymmetric cycloiso-merizations remain rare. Yields and enantioselectivities obtained are good and the catalyst shows a lot of promise in enantioselective enyne chemistry.
