Introduction

Lipoblastomas are rare, benign tumors that occur from a proliferation of lipoblasts in infancy and early childhood. The most common anatomical sites are the extremities, trunk, and head and neck [1] [2]. Lipoblastomas are benign but can grow rapidly causing symptoms by impingement [1] [2] [3] [4]. We present a case of lipoblastoma of the masticator space in a 17-month-old infant which is the first described in the literature.
