Significance

(-)-GSK1360707F is a serotonin-noradrenaline-dopamine triple reuptake inhibitor under development for the treatment of severe depression. In this short synthesis of racemic GSK1360707F, the 3-azabicyclo[4.1.0]heptane framework was constructed in quantitative yield via a platinum(II)-catalyzed enyne cycloisomerization (EF).
