Abstract

The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction of 3-arylidene-4-flavanone derivatives with azomethine ylides generated by various routes have been investigated. The structure and stereochemistry of the cycloadduct have been established by single crystal X-ray structure and spectroscopic techniques.
