Abstract

This paper describes a convenient and efficient synthesis of new pentafluoro-λ6-sulfanyl-containing 1,3-, 1,4- and 1,5-alkadienes and their epoxidation. These compounds are useful as monomers or as intermediates in the preparation of polymers, polymer surface coating and SF5-containing heterocyclic compounds.
