Introduction

Fibromatoses are tumour-like proliferations of fibroblasts. In terms of their biological behaviour, they can be categorised between benign fibrous tumours and fibrosarcomas. They typically show aggressive local infiltration, have a high tendency for recurrence yet do not metastasise.
