Probleme der Auswertung der Operationsresultate nach Linsenimplantation

Zusammenfassung

Die eigenen Operationsresultate von 346 Linsenimplantationen, meist 4-Schlingenlinsen nach Binkhorst, werden kurz dargelegt, um zu zeigen, wie außerordentlich schwierig es ist, Entscheidungsgrundlagen zu erarbeiten, wenn es um die prinzipielle Änderung der Operationstechnik oder um die Auswahl des Linsentyps geht. Die Komplikationsraten sind für die eigene Serie relativ leicht zu erfassen, doch ist der Vergleich mit Resultaten anderer Autoren problematisch, da die Unterschiede betreffend Patientenkollektiv, Operationsmethode und Nachkontrolle zu groß sind.

Summary

The results of intraocular lens implantation in 346 patients, in most cases using Binkhorst 4-loop lenses, are reviewed to show how difficult it is to reach any firm conclusions concerning surgical technique or lens type. It is scarcely possible to compare the complications encountered in this series with the published results of other surgeons since the groups of patients, the surgical techniques and the follow-up regimes differ too much from each other.
