Abstract

The direct amination of azole C-H bonds provides a straightforward, effective access to nitrogen group containing azoles without the prefunctionalization of azoles. This review discussed the rapid advances in the direct amination of azoles; copper-catalyzed/mediated amination, acid-promoted amination, and metal-free amination are discussed.
