Various aryl iodides were coupled with 2 equiv of tributyltin hydride (and/or 1.5 equiv of hexabutylditin) in the presence of potassium acetate and a catalytic amount of PdCl2(PMePh2)2 to afford the corresponding arylstannanes under mild conditions.
